Carving Waxes are formulated to the demanding specifications of professional wax carvers. They are compounded with special care to avoid contamination, pitting, and air bubbles, and they are accurately shaped to minimize preparation time. The waxes are available in tubes, bars, slices, bracelets, tablets, and pellets. Carving Waxes are hard carving waxes available in three levels of flexibility:
Green - Rigid; cuts clean and crisp, excellent for detailed carving or milling. Melt temperature: 230°F (110°C).
Purple - All-purpose; easy to work, good for chip carving. Melt temperature: 225°F (104.4°C).
Blue - Bendable; suitable for items that need flexibility. Melt temperature: 225°F (104.4°C).
